Our story How two passions came together to rethink short-letting 

It started with a conversation. Mattia, a designer with a passion for creating thoughtful interiors, and Jim, a hospitality expert dedicated to exceptional guest experiences, met at a property investors lunch. Sharing the belief that short-term lettings should feel personal, intentional, and memorable, they founded Sleepover.

With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Jim brings deep expertise in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Having served on the board of some of the UK’s largest hospitality groups, he understands how thoughtful service, operational excellence, and attention to detail come together to elevate every stay.

At Sleepover, he oversees operations, from technology and finance to property care, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, so both owners and guests enjoy a seamless, high-quality experience.

With a background in interior design and over 10 years’ experience at an award-winning design firm, Mattia brings a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to every aspect of Sleepover.
